This has been one of those crazy weeks. One thing...we're buying the house we've been 'renting' for a couple years. So there's all that...and of all things...I...had to go to the hospital the other night...but that's a story for another day. No, no big deal...so don't ask...I'm ok...and no, its nothing embarrassing.
But i do have this. I had asked The Queen what she had been craving lately cuz i was kinda out of idears for dinner. She said she'd been wanting some of my grilled homestyle ribs and taters. I'm ALWAYS good with that one. So i get everything ready...pork ribs brined and indulgently bathing in a EVOO spa...new potatoes experiencing the same hedonistic pleasures in sesame oil and kosher salt. I walk out to the back patio to check out the final stage of epicurean delight...message by fire. What!? The Sauna is barely reaching 200*!! I'm out of propane...oh crap. Think boy! You are a master of southern engineering...what...can...you...do? Pan fry? OK...in this instance we say...Paneed? NO! No WAY am i doing THAT to these... Borrow the neighbors tank? No, they aren't home...it's empty anyway (ask me how i know). C'mon Mr. Chef...you're better than this...
OH! Oh YEAH...! Yes...yes! That would work nicely...very nicely...
Props to The Queen for the Christmas present serving as a backup to The Sauna...always thinking ahead that girl.

I like it!! Where there's a will there's a way. Looks yummy too
You do realize that every gas station, drug store, and good 'ole Walmart have pre-filled propane tanks ready to go. Not that ChimiRibs aren't a bad thing. Did you have some Chimay with them?
Bo
