Where there's smoke...

I know what you're thinking...but in the South...that ain't necessarily true. Around here...if there's smoke, there's likely to be ribs...or brisket...or in this case...chicken and big ole thick chunks of beef roast. You ever had hickory smoked beef roast? Well, you might wanna etch it into that Bucket List.
Menu du Jour

Smoked Beef Roast
Herb Seasoned and Baked in Sesame Oil New Potatoes
Sweet Corn Maque Choux
(unless you happen to be the family i'm taking dinner to tonite...then you get the chicken...)

and one or three ICE cold Shiner's...

i know...you wish you lived in The Smoky Kingdom

Wanna see the centerfold?

Please... don't hate beauty

Yep. Some of the absolute BEST times in my previous life began with the words "Let's fire up the smoker..."

Just can't be beat. Period. Full-stop.

It all looks very tasty but I would have to pass on the Maque Choux. My dad loved the stuff and so does my mom in law as well as hubby. But I would eat the rest of it. Yum!!!!!!!!! : )
