Rather than love, than money, than fame, give me truth. I sat at a table where were rich food and wine in abundance, and obsequious attendance, but sincerity and truth were not; and I went away hungry from the inhospitable board. Henry David Thoreau (1817 - 1862)

Hotlanta...?
So far...i'm extremely unimpressed. 7 bucks for TWO spring rolls, which were ok, but come on. and 15 bucks for a salad? OK yeah it had a half dozen scallops on it, but...dude...and lastly, $5.25 for one (1) bottle of local brew? Which was average at best. Please. I might as well be in Dungcan...at least its cheaper for average food. Come on ATL, i miss my wife and kids, at least make this bearable.

Well, bro...I wish I could remember some of the places Brenda and I went....but that was 24 years ago. A lot of water has passed under the bridge since then.
well Fado's has been the ATL's salvation.
Uh Oh. I hope this place was not a place that Mo recommended, although I do know she likes Fado's.
I am confused. I must have missed something.
Dunno if The Varsity, Atlanta's BEST drive-in, is still there or not. But they had world-famous onion rings... beginning back in my Mom's day and stretching into my young adulthood, as well. Good-looking carhops, too.
But, that said, a LOT of water has gone under our collective bridges since I was last there. About 35 years worth...come to think on it.
Sorry you're not gettin' any satisfaction, food dude.
... Atlanta is definitely one of those cities where you try to keep from looking at the total on your credit card bill.... just sign it and try not to cry...
