The Good Doctor over at They Rode On gave me this after i dropped off an article of the same at his office. For those of you who have known me for say, more than 10 years...know that my blood can run a little hot for the wilder side. When Doc dropped this in my lap...i got chills, literally...both times i've watched it. I mean, I'VE HAD THIS DREAM! well, sans 'the flying squirrel'. But, i've definitely been here before. Some of you may have recieved the Jetman video from me a year or so ago...this is SO much better. Believe me...given the chance and the training...I AM IN!

Awwwcom'on Uncle Buck, you know you want to...you'll strap on a organ donor crotch rocket and fly through traffic but not this??? I'm not saying you have to scrape your nails on a cliff face...just do the jump and ffffllllyyyyyy...

Maybe I should clarify...I would still "do it" now even though I'm married w/children, I just don't think I could sustain it as a calendar bending hobby...kinda like all the other alterative sports I did pre-marriage that I still "do"(aka snowboarding, aggressive skating,rock climbing,etc.)...

At this point, given the amount of time that its been since either one of us has done ANY of those, wouldn't it be more like...faceplanting, very semi-aggressive skating, and rapelling?

My girls and my friends like me better when I am skydiving. I get cranky otherwise. Clearly needed to jump more last year. >-)

It's an edit from three cameras of the AF 14-way I organized on the last day of Black and Gold this year. I'm at the front of the door on the exit and to the right of the first camera. Second camera was provided by the Golden Knights. I'm on the left at the end, you'll see me waving my feet for break off (never mind the winch in the rainbow sherbet suit that waves goodbye and leaves 500ft sooner than she should have--she had a real problem with taking direction in general, but we won't go there). The last camera is mine, but it moves around a lot. I wasn't worried about filming; I was worried about getting everyone in on the build so it would complete before breakoff. For a jump with skill levels from a thousand jumps to under a hundred, I was just happy everyone got in before we bottomed out. Enjoy.
Pretty cool, but do you mind not showing this to my daughter? I'm suprised that you did not do some jumps with her and Lindsay. If it were not so expensive, she would probably do more, but instead she bought herself a motorcycle. I think she just likes a little taste of each and every new adventure that comes along. Now she wants a kite to pull her kayak. Let me get this straight; if you get married you slow down on this sort of adventure? Would someone please marry my daughter soon?
I can't see the video, and I'm dieing of curiosity! From the sound of it though, it seems like something I'd enjoy!!
Doc: that vid did absolutely nothing for talking me out of it. My face cracked again. Apparently, something in my genetics thinks doing 120 straight down sounds like a helluva lotta fun.
