A couple weeks ago, The Royals and i, did a Social Studies section on The Fireman. They colored the pictures and we talked about things that firemen did to help the community. I decided that since we actually KNEW a fireman, that it would be an opportune time for a FIELD TRIP!

The firefighters hooked up the Royals with all kinds a goodies...firehats full of candy, coloring books, candy, stickers, candy...yeah you get the idea... they endeared themselves to the Royals quickly.

That Junk Hunk is one hot fireman. He talked about your kids for days, I think he had as much fun as they did. Thanks for posting so we could enjoy your pic.s also.
Firemen LOVE showing the station and trucks off to kids! I think it's because they are still kids too, LOL! I mean, they get to play with big trucks all day with lots of levers and buttons, sirens and lights and hoses. What's not to love for a kid?
Ok, I love it too. That's why I help out at fire safety week!
Great pics, Jay. Yeah, the firemen like to show kids around. Ray works for the OKC fire dept, ya know. And now you can say you know two of them. : )
Bo and Jes got to do the fire-house tour when Jes was two and Bo was five. They let them go up in the basket on the ladder truck and put on all the gear which was pretty funny. We could not get the grin off of Bo's face for days. I will have to take the GGs sometime.
What a nice post. It's hard to tell if the Royals or Diva's Junk Hunk enjoyed it the most. Good times!
