Throneroom Vignette

So...The Prince has been showing some interest lately in using the...facilities. Sure, its more of just sittin' and smilin', the usual order of guys in that venue. All he needs is a Sports Illustrated, or my personal favorite, Calvin and Hobbes. Nothing has really ever happened other than a lot of gigglin' and wigglin' but hey, its the thought that counts.

Anyhoo, i'm intently engaged in The Masters coverage today when the Princesses come screaming out of their bathroom that His Majesty has...christened the throne. I jumped up to check it out.

False alarm...

i'm not real sure what they were...what am i saying? We are talking about HRH The DRAMA Princess and her 16 month removed Echo. So i encouraged him in his endeavor and walked back to Phil Mickelson punching out of the pine needles right of the 12th fairway.

HRHTDP running into the kitchen exclaims, "I'm gonna trace him!" She proceeds to grab a sheet of paper and pen and run to the table. This is the artists perspective of "The Moment".

I wonder...could she end up being one of those courtroom artists that sketch those interesting portrayals when the cameras aren't permitted?

I agree. She seems to have captured his apparent, wide-eyed amusement over his achievement.

Madison is so funny! They all are for that matter. They are also a pleasure to look after.

What a concept...Kinda like "take a picture, it'll last longer."

MamaLou: that's what i am hoping for too.

Hobbette: Its a keeper like the rendition of her and The Queen with sundresses on...the straps for the dresses make them look like they have very large...endowments. Its classic.

Great drawing, made me laugh out loud. And it was good to see that she drew only 4 appendages.

I was reading that post and then looked at the pic that Madison drew and could NOT help but remember a certain pic of you, Jay. I wonder.....do you remember the pic that Mom took of you when you were but a little tyke on "the throne" at Grandma & Grandpa Graham's farm house? Your hands were covering your mouth and the expression was....."priceless"! It's like your expression was saying "I can't believe your taking my picture when I'm in such a vulnerable position!" I have to admit - this is definitely my favorite pic of you during your childhood. It is eternally etched into my memory banks. There was a time I even considered making a copy of that particular phote and sending it to The Jones Soda Company in Washington. They take photos from their constituents and put them right on the bottle of beverages and distribute them throughout the US. But alas, I never quite made it around to "gittin 'er dun". Anyway...well, that was a nice little trip down memory lane. Love ya - Bigger brother

Bro: yeah, i remember that pic, as a kid i used to hate it and turned it around every time i saw it visible on that cube. Now, i love it, it helps me visualize the house, and i remember...

How old is the Princess that drew the picture? And how old is the Prince sitting on the throne? We are in the middle of potty training our youngest, it hasn't really clicked with him yet (but I'm ever hopeful. Someday I'll have no kids in diapers. I just know it!!).
