Waxing Dickensian...

"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times..."

OK, i'm not Dickens...but i did stay at a Holiday Inn last night. Well, not really...but i watched the 1935 version of 'Tale of Two Cities' today. I think i like the 1958 offering better.

Regardless, as is the majority fodder for many blogs today, i'll throw in my couple copper Lincoln's. I think this song sum's up my sentiments precisely:

Hmmm. The year was 1974, but aside from it being my last year in Oregon (Part One. Oregon, Part II would follow four years later) and the year before I met The Second Mrs. Pennington, I'm drawing a blank. Political commentary? Or something more personal?

that last quote was the initial voice over for the show...'The Outer Limits' it was in reference to the non-picture for the song.

ahhh, sorry, the song was just a reference to Super Tuesday being a big ole political boxing match.
