You got 10/10 questions correct. It's pretty obvious that you don't make basic grammatical errors. If anything, you're annoyed when people make simple mistakes on their blogs. As far as people with bad grammar go, you know they're only human. And it's humanity and its current condition that truly disturb you sometimes. |
Rather than love, than money, than fame, give me truth. I sat at a table where were rich food and wine in abundance, and obsequious attendance, but sincerity and truth were not; and I went away hungry from the inhospitable board. Henry David Thoreau (1817 - 1862)

Thanks, but the poll doesn't have my selection. I LIKE IT REASONABLY WELL!
Ah, yet another ace in the apostrophe wars... I'm feelin' really, rilly, BAD about 9/10 score...
Thanks for the link, too, Jay. And that absolutely GREAT Irish proverb you dropped on me the other day. I'm still marveling at (a) the fact I'd never heard it before and (b) just how TRUE it is. None of us could wish for more.
Thanks Uncle Buck i kinda feel in rarified air that i aced that thing, and don't be so humble, you said yourself that you missed one a'purpose.
The Proverb i've seen before and sounded appropriate for the time. There are a FEW occasions where the Irish wax honest, therein lies 4 subjects of note.
