Well folks...its all over. It was a blur of a weekend...and no, that's NOT due to the moderate to heavy doses of margaritas, pork ribs, and home made ice cream. More due to the fact that if it's true that time always flies when you're havin fun...it broke the sound barrier this weekend. We had family come from Denver, Kansas City, Tulsa, and...are ya ready for this...big ole Silo, OK. Seriously, THANK YOU ALL for coming! The Prince and The X are even at this moment rolling in their bounty like two pirates in a treasure cave. This may be better illustrated by a Skybag type of post (where you should go anyway just to see how REAL rednecks spend Independence Day [where we would've been had i not got dates mixed up]).
Of course...that's just a sample...and many other pic's that were somewhat self-incriminating, and hey, it's my blog. We did come out way ahead on the entire weekend now that we have an extra kid in the friendly confines for at least a week. Again, thank you all who came and were a part of some very important days...sorry about the extra miles you have to put in now for all that smoky, cajun love...apparently you didn't seem to mind.
