Road Food...

Yeah so...we're gearing up for a early summer trip to sunny CO at the end of the week. Had a short list to do today, basically it was a trip to Devil Mart for road food. One must be conscious and entirely aware of his surroundings and everything going IN to the basket when you have four sets of eager eyes and hands going down the aisles, seriously my basket resembled a living Bionicle octupus. I mean there are only so many different kinds of cookies one can fit into a cart full of four roiling kids already without getting crushed...which by the way...have you SEEN the new Oreo flav's? Oh yeah? Well...WE got Strawberry Milkshake stufft Oreo's baby! In all honesty...those may not make it on the bus (at least the current supply). i did also find some Walker's Shortbread's...yeah the Scottish ones...they for sure won't make it on the bus. Oh and...you really should check out Cheez-Its new DUOZ (two flavors in one box)...ours have Zesty Queso and Cheddar Blanco...they're looking at me right now. Don't worry now...we also got plenty of good stuff (no, i mean REALLY HONESTLY good stuff) yogurt (not just ANY yogurt...its Scoooooby Doooooo), Chuck E. Cheese's string cheese, a nice big bowl of fruit (i made sure there was ALOT of pineapple this time), and plenty of deli meat and havarti for sandwiches on the fly.

OK kids...all this talk of food...i'm off to bake me some sesame oil and kosher salt slathered potatoes...

Here's some eye candy from yesterday...

The Prosecutor and HRH went out to find The Queen some flowers...

Apparently, our resident SpiderMan has a contract out on HotWheels 4X's...these were a bitch to untangle...

I'm almost certain it was one of these guys...and that one in Spiderman night-night is looking pretty guilty...

So...if i don't get another post in until the weekend (where we'll be basking in the warmth of 5280 feet closer to the sun)...you'll know why...

Peace.

My kids still talk about the trip we made out across Arizona to Las Vegas. We picked up a bag full of bread sticks and a huge chunk of cheese and a box of wine. The kids did not drink the wine, but it was one fun trip.

Make some memories and have a great time.
