Chicken Vindaloo Curry and Chicken Biryani with Na'an, basmati, and of course, an assortment of chutney's...i think we sufficiently resistanced ourselves.
The quote of the evening... after asking The Queen if it had cured her jones..."Well, yes and no...it did while i'm eating it, but i can't eat any more and i still want more." Kinda made me feel like a dealer selling to a junkie...ahhhhh, a return customer.I highly encourage you to click on the pic for a "more intimate perspective". Of course, you must know...there are plenty of leftovers and they only get better after a night of consummation in the fridge...so, there's that.
While we were eating, i happened to catch this little event. The Royals learned this song a few weeks ago and have apparently been watching too much American Idol. They have been "making it theirs, and putting their own artistic impressions and phrasing" on a timeless classic...

The vid is way-cool... but the food? YOWZA! There simply aren't any Indian ingredients to be had locally, save for Crosse and Blackwell chutneys in a couple of flavors,and I wouldn't call those "Indian," by any means. Good beer choice, too. My options are MUCH better when it comes to beer.
{sigh} Mebbe someday I'll forsake this desolate part of the world and move back to civilization...
