Cool the engines...

As a follow-up to the previous post...here's this little gem. I found this looking for a reply to I-squared's (henceforth-I2) blog today. This is from one of my all-time favor-ite bands Boston with one of my all-time favor-ite songs...and perfect footage.

Oh to be the kid at 4:54!!!

Oh yeah, and if your like me...you may wanna roll that volume up to the MAX. side and rip the knob off!

Perhaps send this to LEX...or does he get enough of this, can you get enough of this?

Awesome! this brings back some sweet memories of Dad taking us to see the Thunderbirds out on Eielson AFB AK.
And then the times I'd sit across from my Dad at the NCO Club eating lunch. We'd be yelling back and forth trying to make some kind of conversation as the F-16s were making their practice runs overhead.
Nothing brings on the goosebumps more than being there as these jets do their thing!!

D2D, that's a cool memory, i'm glad it sparked that for ya.

I2: It does tend to make the blood run a little hotter.

Way-cool vid! Except for those plastic jets (the F/A-18s), but I suppose ya gotta give the Navy equal time, eh?

Dawn: I surely MISS the F-16s now that they're gone from Cannon. They've been replaced by AC-130s, which aren't quite the same sight as they shoot touch 'n' go's out at the base...

replaced!!!! bummer, that is so not good!
I don't know the AC-130's, maybe I should do some research.
The F-16 is just the best to me and always will be :) I might even have to look for a few pictures of them for my old Air Force memories pages in the scrap book!
Good memories those were :)
